About this case

If you were a non-exempt employee of Avent Group, Inc. and were assigned to work for Tigers (USA) Global Logistics, Inc. in California from October 3, 2015 to March 15, 2021 you may be entitled to compensation.

The Court has preliminarily approved a proposed settlement in Anguiano v. Avent Group, Inc., et al., No. 19STCV35203, a class action lawsuit alleging that Defendant Tigers (USA) Global Logistics, Inc. violated various California wage and hour laws with respect to its non-exempt employees. The Court has not determined which side is right. Rather, the Parties have agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the uncertainties, expenses and expenditure of resources associated with ongoing litigation.

To receive a monetary payment, you must submit a Claim Form by October 31, 2022, and postmarked to Anguiano v. Avent Group, Inc., et al., P.O. Box 26170, Santa Ana, CA 92799.

If you do not want to be bound by the Settlement, you must submit a written Request for Exclusion by October 31, 2022, and postmarked to Avent Group/Tigers Global Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 26170, Santa Ana, CA 92799. If you exclude yourself, you cannot get a payment, but you preserve the right to sue Defendant Tigers (USA) Global Logistics, Inc. for the claims alleged in the lawsuit.

You can also object to the Settlement. An objection is a written statement explaining why you do not think the Settlement is fair. Any objection must be submitted by October 31, 2022, and postmarked to Avent Group/Tigers Global Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 26170, Santa Ana, CA 92799. You can also object orally by appearing at the final approval hearing.

There will be a final approval hearing for this settlement to determine whether the Court will approve of the settlement, scheduled for December 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles, 312 North Spring Street, Spring Street Courthouse, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Department SS17.
